18/8/1934 - 1/9/2014Geoffrey Arnold Pick joined the Guild as a member of Thrapston Branch in 1995 from Woodford tower, where he was churchwarden. He was a member and friend of many years to those from the Northfield Kettering table tennis club, Kettering Golf Club and Woodford & Thrapston bellringers and Probus. He was elected the Treasurer for the Guild from 1996 – 2004.
In 2007 he and his wife Anne moved near Edinburgh. Geoff died in The Eddington Hospital, North Berwick and his funeral was held on September 16 in Mortonhall Crematorium, Edinburgh. A memorial service for his friends around Thrapston and Kettering and blessing of the headstone, took place at St. Mary’s Church, Woodford on Sunday, December 7 at 2 p.m. Afterwards a quarter peal of Plain Bob Triples, conducted by Iain Hayden, was rung in Geoff's honour.
