- 07/01/2023I’m sorry to report that Paul passed away on the 7th January 2023 following a short illness.
Paul was taught to ring at Pitsford by the late Eric Frost.
Following his marriage to the late Valerie they settled in Spratton where he joined the band eventually taking over as Tower Captain.
Moves to Norwich and Bristol through work he still maintained his membership to the. Guild with the Guilsborough Branch, visiting when he could.
Following Valerie’s death and retirement he moved to Castle Donnington Leics.
Being nearer he was regularly coming to the Guilsbrough Branch monthly meetings .
Paul served as Guilsborough Branch Steward and later Chairman taking over from me in 2016 . Travelling down every month to join us.
The Branch has lost a good friend and a loyal servant and will be sadly missed.
