Commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium, Panel 34 to 35 and 162A. Born 4th quarter 1892. The youngest of three sons of Henry Fairy and Esther Eliza Fairy of 7 Thorpe Street, Raunds, Northants. He worked as a boot finisher for R Coggins & Sons, shoe manufacturers, before enlisting. Before he left for the front, he was engaged to Miss Lily Eaton of Raunds; sadly he never returned and she never married. Born: Raunds. Enlisted: Kettering. Resided (1911 Census): Thorpe Street, Raunds.
