Saturday June 11th was Guild AGM Day. A lovely summer day, warmth and sunshine – ideal for a day out ringing with friends.  Plenty of people took the opportunity to attend the surprise Major Practice at Thrapston on the way (for most people) to the AGM later in the day in Peterborough.  Many of the standard eight methods were rung plus Cornwall and Deva Surprise Major.

Peterborough branch had arranged for opportunities to ring on all three rings of bells in the city of Peterborough. This included ringing for those there, one highlight being recent learners from Rutland ringing on 12 for the first time. After a service touch at St John's, the service and excellent tea were provided prior to the AGM.  This was the first in-person AGM since COVID lockdown, and this may have contributed to a relatively low attendance at the AGM itself.

Following the meeting, the day concluded with a convivial period in a local pub.
