As it was the second Saturday in an odd numbered month, we held a 10-bell practice on 11/03.  This month we were welcomed at Peterborough Cathedral and 17 ringers attended.  The ringing was mainly Surprise Royal with a bit of Grandsire and Stedman Caters thrown in as this suited the ringers that came. [However ringers from the Rutland Branch were able to ring rounds, plain hunt and Grandsire Caters the next day when they went along to ring for Evensong].

We took the opportunity of this gathering of Guild members to do the 100 Club Draw.  The winners were Laurence Stapleton, Paul Bennett and Sandra Orgill.  Congratulations to them.

In the afternoon we rang a lot of Stedman (Doubles and Triples) at Thrapston for those who had signed up for this particular training course.  They had the opportunity to put into practise the hints and advice that had been delivered by Zoom earlier in the week.  If you are interested in any training topics do feel free to contact the Guild Master, Simon Dixon (This email address is being protected from spambots.
