Seventeen intrepid ringers took on the Nene Valley Challenge on Saturday 9th March (the third anniversary event of 2024).  They took themselves out of their comfort zone, to put into practice what they had been learning at their home towers, by ringing on four unfamiliar sets of bells.  Supported by a number of other ringers from five different branches they each rang their individual piece and were duly awarded with a certificate to mark this achievement.   Everyone was able to enjoy a lovely lunch at Thrapston after the ringing, with some “birthday cake” of course.

The 100 Club Draw was made too – this month’s winners were Dorothy Westerman, Christine Lea and Shirley Jones.

My thanks go to all the supporters, particularly those who ran the ringing at one of the towers, and to the local ringers around Thrapston for providing a superb lunch.
