Until his death in September 2021, Gordon was the tower correspondent at Great Cransley where he had been instrumental in ensuring that enough funds were raised to repair the bells and get them ringing again after he moved to the village in 1983.
There will be a service of thanksgiving for the life of Gordon Smart at St Andrew’s Church, Great Cransley NN14 1PX on Sunday 19th June at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to the service.
