The Spring meeting took place on Saturday 22nd April in the Wellingborough branch. While the weather forecast hadn’t been brilliant, the weather turned out quite reasonable, with some sunny patches amid the clouds that were scudding past overhead.
Ringing started at Mears Ashby before the contest and ringing at Orlingbury. Six teams had entered, and these were judged by Garry and Sue Mason from Leicester.
After an excellent tea, the judges gave their verdict on the ringing. They commented on how good the ringing had been throughout and that it had been a pleasure to listen to.
