There were many photographs submitted for the Guild's Photo contest. Some were not usable, for reasons of resolution, aspect ratio or the content, but that still left 87 different images which were displayed at the Summer Festival.

The 100th anniversary committee selected their favourite images, intending to select a favourite 3, but it proved to be a tie and so we settled on a favourite four images. These are shown below in alphabetical order of the tower pictured.

Bugbrooke, Gwynneth White Cold Ashby, Liz Reading
Wadenhoe, Richard Allton Wilbarston, Simon Pearce

At the Summer Festival, those attending were encouraged to view the pictures and select their favourite images, identifying the people's choice. These votes were tallied and the favourite image was that of Cold Ashby. Nice to see that the people and the judges agreed on this.

The 100th anniversary committee will be selecting images for the Guild's 100th anniversary calendar. We remain short of a good image of that is typically autumnal, one with leaves turning would still be welcomed. These can be mailed to the This email address is being protected from spambots.
