The Guild Summer Festival took place in the Rutland Branch on Saturday 24th September 2002.

Following open ringing at Belton-in-Rutland, 5 branch teams took part in the 8-bell striking competition at Uppingham.

After tea, the meeting included updates from the Central Council Meeting, Training activities, the Anniversary Photo Contest and the 100 Club draw. The raffle raised £180 for the Bell Repair Fund. Newletters were distributed to branches, and the 2022 Guild Quiz was released. Copies are available through your branches, £1 each.

The 100 Club winners were:

1st: Margaret Dean

2nd: Sue Jones

3rd: Alison Byrnes

Following the conclusion of the formal part of the meeting, the results of the competition were announced by James and Helena Thorpe, who kindly judged the ringing.
