It was a great pleasure for me and my wife Janet to be invited by Geoff Pullin to support him as he received his British Empire Medal from His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Northamptonshire James Saunders Watson on Wednesday 23rd November in Northampton's County Hall. It was the first time I have been in that building. The Lord-Lieutenant commented how much he enjoyed finding out more about the recipients of honours at these presentations. It was pointed out that Geoff was receiving one of the last Certificates with the Queen's Cypher heading it as the award was made in the Queen's last Birthday Honours List.

Many thanks Geoff for all you have done in Badby and for ringing over many years, and congratulations on the Award.
